Total Quality – Our Commitment
At Alsahem Almudea, we consider quality control an ongoing process that begins before manufacturing and doesn’t end with delivery. Our goal is to provide transformers with superior performance and absolute reliability.
Monitoring methodology and procedures
We implement a comprehensive quality control system that ensures product safety at every step:
Intensive monitoring
Great importance is given to monitoring inputs (raw materials), following up on procedures (manufacturing processes), and obtaining results in accordance with approved standard specifications.
Documentation transparency
We always provide our customers with documented evidence in the Quality Control Handbook, which confirms the effectiveness of our procedures.
Full compliance
The standards and organized instructions are followed strictly at all stages of production, thanks to intensive monitoring and documented instructions.
Specialized staff
Quality control work is carried out by qualified specialists who supervise production processes and prepare the necessary documents and statistical data that support the decision to accept the product.
Technical tests for transformers (Testing Procedures)
All transformers produced undergo a rigorous series of tests to verify the integrity of the design, manufacturing, and performance.

Detailed test list for oil transformers
The routine and special tests carried out by “Alsahem Almudea” ensure the optimal performance of oil transformers:
Advanced tests (general and specialized)
High temperature test in oil and coils.
Impulse Test - Lighting Shock Test.
Measuring the noise level.
Measuring insulation resistance.
Measuring partial discharge.
Harmonics Measurement.
Measurement of capacitance and beta tangent - Tangent.
Basic (routine) tests
Measuring the resistance of coils.
Measure the conversion ratio and determine the vector class.
Measuring non-pregnancy loss and pregnancy loss.
Measuring impedance voltage and load losses.
Induced overvoltage test.
High voltage applied test.
Leakage Test.
Approved standards and specifications
Our oil transformers are manufactured according to the strictest national and international standards and specifications, to ensure the highest levels of safety and reliability.
Working and installation conditions
The “Light Arrow” transformers are designed to operate efficiently under the following standard conditions:
Working and installation conditions
Regulation of ceramic insulation: Ceramic insulation - bushings - conform to DIN42530 and DIN42531 standards. The distance between each insulation and the distance between the insulation and the ground is increased by 1.25% for every height exceeding 1000 meters.
Height exceeding 1000 meters: The transformer capacity is reduced by 1% for each increase in height above 1000 meters.
Height up to 1000 meters: The transformers are suitable for installation up to this height without a reduction in capacity.
Permissible temperature increases
Our current transformers are designed on the basis that emergency increases in temperature do not exceed the specified values allowed in the applicable global and local standards.
Thermal insulation: Our transformers are manufactured using thermally insulating supplies that can operate at temperatures up to 600∘C with an insulation rating up to 1050∘C in some cases, ensuring optimal performance in harsh conditions.
